On this tour you, will visit the monastery of St. Barnabas with its famous “room of icons” and the archaeology museum, you will also have a chance to see the tomb of St. Barnabas and then continue to the ancient Roman city of Salamis which dates back to BC times.
After lunch you will visit the famous Famagusta old city walls, Othello’s Tower where Shakespeare was inspired to write his famous play (built in the 12th Century during the Lusignan period), St. Nicholas Cathedral (Lala Mustafa PashaMosque) and then to the “Ghost City” Varosha.
